Luckily, the bureaucrat assigned to review Darrell’s application was new and the occupational therapist (OT) was able to convince him to forgo the “one cushion per butt” policy in favour for the commonsensical “one cushion per chair” approach. Please tell me Darrell asked the question of how he was to get both chairs to the bed. I want to know the response or reaction when the OT realized he had suggested anything so stupid. I know all about the jumping of hoops to meet all the red tape requirements..I have Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis and all the paper work and extra charges are a real pain in the butt!
