I can certainly testify to the power of the Law of Attraction as outlined in the movie The Secret. I met Bob Proctor at a time when I was broke and at my wits end. He taught me the principles of from The Secret and within 6 months I went form broke to a millionaire!
What a ride! I explain how on my site at http://lassothemoon.blogspot.com/.

Happiness is a decision we make.We can chose to look at the glass as half full or bemoan how much is gone.Even the darkest cloud has a silver lining-even if it is to help us know by contrast, what a better day is like.

So what is the silver lining of Woodlands? Perhaps to learn from the mistakes of the past and make sure it never happens again? Or to rage against a government that took so much away from people and is unwilling to compensate them for their losses without exacting yet another toll again.

What is the next step in helping the people of Wodolands and ensuring their martyred compatriots are given suitable recognition?

You make some great points. I really like the admonition to focus on the positive, as opposed to the negative of a situation. At a minimum you will always see things in a better life, which is I suppose what the Secret is about.

Good thing you avoided that horrible Woodlands place, my God!

One thing I really connected to in the Pursuit of Happyness was after Will got the job, and he was so happy that he almost cried. Recently I have had a few successes where I reached that level of elation.

That is an incredible feeling, and it is only reached through achievement. It is only attained by taking huge risks, working like crazy, and attaining a goal you were never really sure you could achieve.

Thanks for the post!

Just finished reading the book by Elizabeth Gilbert "Eat,Pray,Love" and I highly recommend you reading it. Special attention given to page 160 (or was it 165) where I read about the secret of happiness. Read the book and find out for yourselves!!
All the best to all,
Work on being and maintaining the pursuit of happiness!
