We celebrated an early Thanksgiving with our family on the same date as yours in Canada.

My live-in daughter-in-law’s cancer has metastasized and is unstoppable (apparently). She had a yen for Thanksgiving food and we obliged… inviting friends and family and had a wonderful, bittersweet day.

So glad we could do it for her while she still has an appetite (though tiny)! These things serve to put us “in the moment” and clear out the low priority items!

Thanks for sharing your own thanks with us. I am thankful for having finally found the job I love so much which is also bringing T and me the financial security we have not ad since he lost his job. I’m also thankful that things are moving forward with his upcoming job. And most importantly I am thankful for my friends and family, especially T, especially during the past few difficult months and the coming challenges we know are waiting for us.

I am thankful for many things including:
my friends and family.
the fact that I get to do a job that I love, in a place that I love.
The list could go on with many more items, however something I am most grateful for is having you as my wife.
