I'm a web designer myself, and one area I work extensively in is accessibility. I look forward to hearing what you have to say. If I can ever be of service, don't hesitate to ask.

Kia ora Glenda

I am new to blogging. One of the aspects of blogging that first took my interest is accessibility - it is such a broad term. But, of course it can mean lots of things to different people.

Some years ago I was intrigued to find how it was possible for someone who was visually impaired to access the Internet.

More recently I learnt that data that I can't see on my screen but that lies in the html can either help or hinder a visually impaired person who is using a screen reader.

I will be interested to learn how you progress with your mission in this aspect of in blogging. Good luck with that.

Glenda -- Working on a Blogsite for a client and we want to include features to deal with the issue of accessibility. If you can, drop me an email at grant@g2webmedia.com so you and I can discuss this. Thanks

This is really interesting.

I began working for my current employer two and a half years ago. I'm a copywriter, but I've had to learn (and continue to learn) about accessibility and how it's implemented on the web and in e-learning tools (SCORM etc).

It's a complicated business and I'll be keeping my eye on what you have to share!
