Today Darrell came across a great episode of Holmes on Homes, in which Holmes renovates an apartment to make it more accessible. The episode is in seven parts; Part 1 outlines the problems, Part 7 shows the completed project. Some great ideas! Unfortunately, the videos are not captioned.

This is something we all need to think of as we age and take care of our parents.

Having recently had to deal with a parent that became wheelchair bound it sure was an eye opener how inaccessible our community is.
