Why I’ve Disappeared

Filed under: General — by at 5:18 pm on Sunday, March 16, 2008

Last Friday my husband was rushed to the hospital with what we thought was a severe case of stomach flu. It turned out to be a gall stone attack.

Darrell had his gall bladder removed this Friday, after three hours on the OR table. He is recovering in hospital and his parents are here to help him.

Right now my mind is too scattered to blog, although there is much to blog about. Regular blog posts will resume once chaos returns to normal.

Thanks to my friends who have kept me relatively sane over the past week!

If you enjoyed this post, consider buying me a chai tea latte. Thanks kindly.

Wishing Darrell a speedy recovery. They say gall bladder pain is equivalent to giving birth so I guess he will have a story to tell.

Blessings to you both!

Thanks Lori-ann. Many stories to tell, although perhaps not on a public blog! 😉

Oh, Glenda – that is not fun! Please give my very best to Darrell and let him know that he is in my thoughts and prayers. As are you, of course, as you go through this with him. Be well, both of you!

Love,
Avril

I can say from experience that gallstones and gallbladder surgery are no fun. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Darrell and wishes for strength and peace for you.
